What this project demonstrates
- A 1991 concept brought forward with modern rendering
- Time encoded through continuous color rather than digits
- Hue, saturation, and brightness mapped to hours, minutes, and seconds
- HTML5 Canvas animation with smooth, always-on transitions
- A reminder that interface ideas age better than their original platforms
Color Clock is proof that a good old idea is worth rebuilding with the tools available today.
Time represented through color gradients instead of traditional numbers. Uses HTML5 Canvas for fluid color animations, each hour, minute, and second mapped to specific hue, saturation, and brightness values.
